How to take body measurements correctly.

Taking body measurements correctly; selecting the correct size of clothes from the online shop is not always very easy. To determine the perfect size without trying clothes, we need to know the accurate measurements of our bodies. To ensure you get the right size of clothes, we recommend you take your measures; we hope you will find the perfect fit here from "Good Gift."

General Tips and Advice

If possible, allow someone else to measure you; otherwise, try yourself. Measure yourself wearing underclothes, not recommend over with your outer clothes. Keep both feet on the floor and stand straight. (In front of a mirror is a better option)

Neck

Start your measurement with tape around your neck, where your shirt collar would rest (bottom part of your Adam's apple). The shirt size will be at least half an inch bigger; for example, suppose you measure your neck size precisely 16 inches (40.64 cm), then your shirt size will be 16½ inches (41.91cm). If you counted on a 1/4 inch/centimeter, round up to the nearest 1/2 inch/centimeter. For example, your measurement of your neck size was 16.37, round up to 16.5. Your neck size should range between 14 – 19 inches or 35.5 – 48.3 centimeters.

Chest

Measure around the broadest part of your chest, placing the tape under your arms. Leave a little extra room depending on the fit you would like.

Waist

To measure your waistline, measure about an inch of your navel, breathe out, and relax before your effort.

Inside leg (Inseam)

Measure from the top of the inside leg (groin area) crotch to where your dress will finish at the ankle. You can also be measured on a pair of pants with the proper length.  To select the exact clothes size, check your measurements.
